Takes my breath away!

I've always been a huge fan of space exploration. Add a bit of Dali-esque surrealism, mix in a fabulous color palette, dab onto a gorgeous composition, and you have a recipe for AWESOMENESS. This piece takes my breath away, and that's even with my spacesuit on.

I love gazing at the details here, getting lost in the variegated ground where the boot-prints mix with the surface irregularities. The visual pun on spacetime lightens the piece, and adds a je ne sais quoi that keeps me from drifting away. Color choice and composition are out of this world, and further tether me to the print.
